TINA COOPER
is a Visual, Fine and Textile Artist & Tutor.
TINA COOPER ART is influenced by the sea, the sky, nature, animals and people. Texture, form and line is concentrated but colour and mood is just as magnetic .
With many years of experience behind her, Tina's background ranges from working in the Fashion and retail industry designing and pattern making for High Street chains to private collections. With a strong eye for detail and interest in costume and art history, Tina's knowledge of fabric cut, surface print and commercial awareness adds to her artistic background.
As well as being a professional artist, Tina has been tutoring lessons for over eight years to people of all ages, both in her workshop and privately. Having an ethos of 'bringing the artist out from within' uniquely to suit each individual, her organic approach has produced artistic confidence in all her students. If you would like to share her skills, please book a workshop session or contact for enquires. A deposit of £50 for a minimum of 4 people to a maximum of 10 will secure the session. Prices vary according to location, duration and context of class.
Conservation is very important to Tina and where necessary, the love of nature is transferred to her teachings as proven in 2015 when her group of budding artists came second in the "DSWF's Global Art & Canvas competition". Viewing their work presentation in the Natural History Museum, London, was a great achievement when winning against 2000 entries from countries worldwide like China, Hong Kong, Africa and Dubai.
Another success was made when another student age 7, won an entry in "BORN FREE'S Poetry & Art Competition 2015", winning a publishing of her poem and illustration in the book called 'Wild About Animals' which is available from Amazon and bookstores worldwide.
